It would seem that I need (within a couple of weeks or so) to undergo some serious surgery. There was recent inconclusive discussion about not losing access to the source of applications/packages as a result. What I have done today, therefore, is to add a page to my website www.iletter.org.uk, at which one may download the source of the applications I have been working on over recent years. In principle you get everything needed to build the application under the IDE.
Best wishes and fast recovery
Thank you Tim, best of luck with your surgery!
Best of luck @TimStreater ! Praying it goes well and that the recovery is as quick as it reasonably can be.
My best wishes and bright future.
Good luck with the surgery.
But don’t you have someone in family to give away the projects to someone only in case you end up incapable to do it yourself?
Best of luck, Tim
One “solution” is creating a link disabled until certain date. Like 90 days later. After 90 days your treasures could be downloaded as donations to the community. But, as we all wish, you could return sooner and disable it.
Also wishing the best and a fast recovery.
Best wishes and fast recovery, Tim!
There is a great need for a free email app. I’ll have a look at yours. Thank you and I pray the surgery goes well and you’re back here asap!
Thank you all for your kind words - they are much appreciated.
I could check with my nephew Stephen, one of the founders of Eidos which (eventually) published the Lara Croft franchise some 20 years ago. But he’s very busy, especially just now as my brother (his father) died a couple of weeks ago.
Best wishes Tim.
Wishing you the best of all possible outcomes, Tim, and all the best to your family.
Hi Tim, best of luck and hopefully it will all become unnecessary.
Hope all goes well for you Tim and that you’re able to recover quickly.
Best wishes for a quick recovery Tim! You have been a fantastic contributor to the Xojo community for a long time,
I wish you well!
Best wishes, Tim.
That is very thoughtful, Tim. Good fortune on your surgery!
Wishing you the best of outcomes, Tim. It’s very kind of you to release your source code. Please drop us a note when you’re back on your feet to update us on your recovery.
Tim,
I wish you the best with your surgery and hope we will still read you when you recover. Good luck !
