With compatibility mode turned on, my master/detail apps work much as they did.
I tried turning it off, and find that the smaller master side panel now sits ON TOP of the detail page.
It looks awful and is a real productivity killer as I have to keep opening and closing the screen.
Is there a setting to make ‘just that’ work in the older ‘stays put’ style?
I think it’s just iOS 26 and you’ll have to complain to Apple.
