Calgary Alberta Canada ?

reservations made and under my name for 6 PM

see you all there

now for a TINY bit of trivia
Nicks was the very first job I ever had
I worked there and was there on their opening day

I am looking forward to meet everyone. See you then.

If you guys do that regularly, it may be a chance for me to fly over. Frankfurt - Calgary is a direct flight.
A Canadian Xojo conference may also be a good idea.

I donā€™t know if thereā€™s been get togethers previously in Calgary - I guess weā€™ll see how this one goes to figure out if itā€™ll become a regular thing or not! Very kind of you to consider joining us!

That would be pretty cool.

For US attendees at least, Iā€™d imagine there would be some cost savings with the USD > CDN exchange.

This is the first get together

A conference in Canada would be30% cheaper for US attendees right from the outset

I would love to attend as well, but the drive from Edmonton to Calgary is too unpredictable in the winter.

Have a great time!

And weather reports suggest things could get nasty by this weekend

Unfortunatelyā€¦yes it is. :frowning:

well I dont know edmonton but surelyt there has to be more than you guys using it there
we could organize a get together there

or maybe a half way ā€œneutralā€ city like Red Deer
we can argue about Junior teams instead of Oilers VS Flames

And that would save me most of the drive both ways :stuck_out_tongue:

Hitmen vs Rebels vs Oil Kings

Have to admit I have not even looked at the standings this year

My daughter and I in Banff. ItĀ’s cold  See you all Sat evening.

sorry for the cold - probably the coldest weather we have had so far this winter and it just started
and Iā€™m patrolling tomorrow night AND saturday morning
Iā€™m expecting to see folks with frostbite :frowning:

that looks like its taken from one of the balconies at the Upper Hot Springs facing out across tunnel mountain and over the banff springs

nice view that one

We are having a blast still. My their kids playing hockey on the small rink at the hotel (Banff Springs Hotel).

Springs is nice
Are there any snow sculptures in the town site yet ?
Usually the first ones end up in the yard next to the high school down Banff Ave

No sculptures just yet. Downtown Banff is a blast! We are heading to the Canmore Eagles game tomorrow night against Fort McMurray.

too bad as the snow sculptures are something to behold
but timing
last year they had several like this one

the squirrel was about 10-12 feet tall

downtown banff they have tried to keep traditional with varying degrees of success

its still nice esp outside high tourist season

and watching them make them is as engaging as they are to look at
if only you could have been about 10 days later but ā€¦ it is what it is

enjoy the hockey game ! it should be like old times with you since olds is in the ajhl as well :stuck_out_tongue:
