The Safari 17.5 renders pages as expected, the 17.3 is now no longer rendering properly.
Can you share a screenshot?
Create an Issue, maybe @Ricardo_Cruz can find a workaround when reviewing the case.
Yes, include sample project, system/browser info and screenshots (the above and how it should show).
I also have a problem with webbuttons in 2024r2 and 2.1 (it was not in 2024r11)
if the button has 2 lines, it was growing automatically in height in 2024r11
sometimes it does not in 2024r2 and 2.1
I did not succeed to make a sample project, it is working in the sample project every time
there are some faults it seems with the webbuttons in 2024r2
Did you notice this problem in a particular browser/version or any browser?
Maybe you have custom CSS that allowed this.
As buttons changed in r2 to be able to have different height at design/run time (even make the font smaller if the height is less than default), maybe you will need to update your CSS.
The problem is the ‘sometimes it does not’. Maybe something else should be checked by Ricardo.
I have very few CSS in this project, and none about buttons.
same problem with opera or safari
Ok, so I guess the changes on r2/r2.1 for buttons are causing problems in some browsers.
Do you have the same problem in Safari 17.3 and 17.5?
I only tried 17.5 as it is the one installed on my mac.
Ok, so it looks like not related to the problem with 17.3
I hope you can find a way to reproduce or be able to record the screen.
Maybe Ricardo can investigate with that.
Can you please report the bug you’re seeing? It isn’t related to the one reported by @Grzegorz_Greg_Pasternak
Sorry @Ricardo_Cruz I cannot reproduce this bug in an example project, so I will not report it…
Ricardo posted the workaround on the issue (see link above) - the button labels are now visible on Safari 17.1 and 17.3
