Just what does this control?
If the Preference - Coding is changed I can see that coding is changed.
However changing Preference - Layout does nothing?
Is there a way to control the font is the Navigation(?) plain?
I just got a new Retina iMac. Looking at the display with a magnifying glass at the Code, (Source Code Pro, font) and it look very smooth. Look at the other font and Xojo’s font look like something from the MacPaint days; BAD, BAD, BAD.
The Xojo IDE is not Retina ready.

So, what the purpose of -> Preference -> Layout and what should it do ???
The User Guide goes over the Preference Panel for Layout in Book 1, Ch2 Sec11 (Page 65)
It looks like these settings change the default values for controls when added to your app’s interface.

Did not see any effect when changed.
I got it!
It assign the select font and size to a any new created control. For example if you set the Preference -> Layout to Font ‘system’ and Font Size to ‘0’ and create a new push button it will get that font and font size.

Please note that this works only in Desktop. Not in Web Edition or iOS.
