Xojo Customer Service Props

I have no desire to rehash this but I feel clarification is needed, again. I don’t know how old this quote from Geoff is, and he may be talking about an older upgrade process but this is not how Xojo upgrades are calculated. The upgrade system uses the price of Xojo license as currently stated in the store, it has absolutely no idea what you paid for it. If you have a Desktop license you purchased from a Black Friday sale, via MacHeist or at full price and you want to upgrade, the value remaining in that Desktop license is deducted from a full price Xojo Pro. Bought a $99 license yesterday and want to upgrade to a $299 license? Sure, the upgrade cost is $200. Bought a $99 license 6 months ago and want to upgrade? Sure, the upgrade cost is $250. This seems to be blowing something simple completely out of hand.
