Xojo apps crash on Mac Golden Gate Public Beta

On Mac OS Golden Gate Public Beta, Xojo and the apps that was build with Xojo crash unexpectedly during execution.

Any idea?

Do you have a crash log? What “execution” do you mean? Which Xojo apps crash and with which version of Xojo were the apps made?

yes i have! execution is running an app that was build in xojo. but xojo crash too.

I too am running the latest beta of Golden Gate and the latest test beta of Xojo IDE is crashing regularly (IDE itself crashes without warning every 5-20 minutes continuously, but will sometimes run for an hour) from doing normal editing. Keep away!

The first crash is not “execution” but during closing of complex windows:

It’s also a bug of Xojo 2026r2 which was just fixed: https://tracker.xojo.com/xojoinc/xojo/-/issues/81616

And if HP uses Xojo I would be very surprised which is the second crash log: /Applications/HP Easy Scan.app/Contents/MacOS/HP Easy Scan

Hmmm… 2026R2 also crashes at random in macOS27 beta3 v2 (developer version and in VM).

Xojo or macOS bug?

You got a crash log for the crashes? Did you make a ticket either at the fruit company or at Xojo?

Sorry for the HP Easy Scan. I sent a lot of problems to Apple.
You said that the bug was fixed, but for me still happening. I’m running on 2026r2. Do i have to do anything?

Yes, you have to wait until Xojo releases 2026r2.1 for that fix to be available.
