Xojo 2017 r3 doesn't work on Linux

Xojo2017 R3 doesn’t start on Linux Mint 18.3

Is that Linux 64bit? Note Xojo IDE does not work anymore in 32 bit. http://developer.xojo.com/system-requirements

I installed 2017R3 on Ubuntu 16.04 and it does run without problems.

However, unlike the earlier versions, creating a shortcut for XoJo on the desktop
did not work: the program does not start from this link, it does however from the
XoJo folder.

It appears that it cannot find some necessary resources when started from the
shortcut. The error message starts with

"Unable to find the Resources Folder. Xojo is not properly installed. ..."

If one moves the shortcut to the XoJo folder, it works again.

( I find the new version much faster, both on Windows and Ubuntu. Also
true for the compiled applications. Nice work ! )

I use a 32 bit Linux. Linux say the programm is not ok.

There is no 32 bit Linux IDE any longer

And the download page says the downloads are for 64 bit Linux distros
