I’m quite pleased with how the project has come along - it can now mimic on older versions the MarkerAnnotationViews that will come to MacOS with MacOS 11 Big Sur:

P.S. I would like to point out that I try to write my articles for beginners - that might make them a bit longer and maybe for some “unnecessarily wordy”, but I like to give a lot of background and explain why I do it in a certain way.

I also follow the Bob Keeney school of teaching, in that I don’t just present a polished final solution but when I run into trouble I describe that and how I was able to solve it. That’s probably the reason why my article series go on for so long … :roll_eyes:
