How is he running the old RB version without a license? Back then you couldn’t even run in the IDE without a license…
The version he is using (2.*) is older than the first version I bought (3.0)!
BTW I still remember RB 5.5.5 fondly!

Well, I don’t think he actually SAYS he’s running it without a license. Maybe he’s entering one without saying anything.
I used version 2.1.2! It was great. No compile before run haha. A very different approach.
I love old user interfaces, it has a charm that feels more like a tool and less like an advertisement. Very cool!
FWIW, the REALBasic archives on The Internet Archive include keys. It’s considered Abandonware for its age. It would be inspiring to see Xojo, Inc. upload and archive all of the classic versions for tinkerers.
I bet O’Reilly’s REALbasic: The Definitive Guide came in handy!
