Windows version just doesn't want to run?

@Bryan Dodson
As @Michel Bujardet and @Neil Burkholder stated before; if you want to do Windows Apps; 2015R4.1 is the better choice at the moment. Windows7 is a reality for almost every big enterprise (they are just slow at adapting), nothing that can be done about that; but you do have a choice about what you use to develop with. Single EXEs are not happening; but you don’t have to dance into the DLL mess if you don’t want to; that is a real choice you do have.

Sorry i absolutely dont see the point here. At work im on Windows7 too, that suxx but hey its work IT…they suck too. But to run Xojo you need only the DLLs, we are at SP1 here. Xojo in fact is still portable with (i use xojo from usb stick) that DLLs in the application folder. And your APP normally only need this DLLs to work too.

So it is everytime just exe file + vcruntime, even if that not is installed you can put a copy job in your project (to copy this DLLs to your app folder) for test runs …

And if you are not at SP1 on Win7 … gratulation your IT in your firm is really bad at all, curse this is a massive security problem. Its not a MS or a Xojo Problem, it is the problem of a outdated system.
