Windows 8 Icons?

Hi,
Does anyone know if in the near future, Xojo will include the ability to include a couple of different sized application icons for use in Windows 8 Metro?

When in Metro view you can create icons to your app on the Metro start screen, they are either a square or a rectangle, but I have no idea of their sizes.

Thank you all in advance.

Download MetroStudio from Syncfusion. It allows you to quickly create windows 8 style icons very quickly, scale them an export them.

The best part, it’s free and very good.

What I meant was will Xojo allow the user to embed these Windows 8 icons into the compiled program.

Yes, just drag the image into the navigator, when the application is compiled it is included in the app. I usually create a folder for all of my images.

Those for icons you use inside your application. To set the icon for the application itself click on the APP in the navigator then click on ICON on the inspector… This will allow you to set the icon for the application itself.

Thanks for your help but I think I need to re-phrase my question:

Does anyone know if Xojo at some stage in the future, allow us to include new Application icon sizes, which are sized for the new Metro interface?

At the moment, when you click on App > Icon - you are presented with a kind of Icon editor, whereby you drag in your different sized images and the accompanying masks. These images are then used as the different icon sizes for the actual program when run.

However, I may be wrong, but I think Windows 8 uses a couple of different sizes when in the Metro interface.

Thank you all in advance.
