I know there are other posts on this topic but they are all a few years old and I’m hoping there has been some updates to the underlying software.
MacOs will open windows in tabs by default and it’s a great feature in the right circumstances. However my experience has been that any resizeable window is a candidate for tabbing even if they are from completely different legs of the application. Consequently I have been inserting code to turn it off altogether.
But there are times I would like to tab the windows, I produce reports to a window with an option to print, but I find usually the display is sufficient. I would like to merge these report windows into tabs. Essentially can I tab windows of the same class but exclude others?
Hope this makes sense.
