In the documentation we can read “If AutoIncrementVersionInformation is checked, the IDE increases NonReleaseVersion by one each time you build your project, but not when you run it.”
But my question is: Where is “AutoIncrementVersionInformation” and how is it checked.
In IDE:
Under Build Settings → Shared → Auto Increment Version is a switch Under Version settings
