Is it possible to draw lines, circles etc. into a WebMapViewer control using google maps API and Javascript?

No need to use JavaScript. I just experimented with the advanced example project Eddies Electronic. Just place a canvas over the map, make it transparent with a web style, and you can draw to your heart content in the Paint event
