Web audio group chat

Hi all

I’m looking to support our fire service with a web based audio chat capability. Ie, when a user logs in they have an open mic/can hear a group chat. Does anyone recommend a cheap services with appropriate API’s or similar? I understand on iOS that the user will have to allow mic access each time.

You might want to check out mumble – it’s a free, open-source, low-latency voice chat system that you can self-host.
