Web App display blank maps

Is there a requirement on a linux server for rendering maps ?, I have a web app that should display maps, works fine on Windows, and Linux on a test VM I just installed, but it shows the blank Map in a VPS where Is the production application. The VPS is a 16.04.1 64-bit Ubuntu, the app runs in cgi mode on an Apache server. In Linux and WIndows for testing runs in standalone mode.
