Deliberately went where the signs said not to go, checked on the road to see where the waves were breaching the wall, and stood back. Awaited the next set of large waves, when this girl got rather courageous and went into the splash zone. It was only a matter of time…
Surprisingly, she just stood there as this monster wave slammed against the wall and raised over her head, then fell right at her feet. She didn’t get wet, yet down the road I heard screams as a couple of boys were not so lucky.
