VXUG October 2017 Meeting

Registration for VXUG’s October meeting is now open.

The meeting will be held on Thursday, October 26th, 2017 at 2:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (US and Canada). We’ll show how to host Xojo stand-alone Web apps using Amazon Web Services (and low cost Lightsail servers in particular), how to make use of Nginx, and how to obtain free SSL certificates using Let’s Encrypt.

At this month’s meeting, we’ll show you how to host stand alone Xojo Web apps using Amazon Web Services (EC2 and Lightsail servers), Nginx, and SSL certificates obtained via Let’s Encrypt. I’ll also demonstrate SessionEngine, a Xojo class that you can use to easily add session management to Aloe-based apps.
