Is there a way in Xojo on Mac to start voice dictation and store any words heard in an every growing string?

Yeah, in any edit field, anywhere in the OS pull down Edit > Start Dictation

for the records, “start dictation” does not appear in other language that english … long ago feedback case.

with MBS Plugin you can write:

NSApplicationMBS.sharedApplication.startDictation

and

NSApplicationMBS.sharedApplication.stopDictation

to control it a bit.
Text goes in focussed textarea.
