Virtual Xojo Users Group - March 2017 Meeting

Hi everyone.

I’m in the process of organizing our second virtual meeting, and I need some help.

I’m planning to hold the meeting on Thursday, March 23rd, at 2:00 PM EST (7:00 GMT). However, before formalizing the meeting, I’d like to line up a few presenters.

If you’re interested in presenting, please let me know. Feel free to send me a private message, or email me:

I will be on a plane from LHR to ATL at that time. Sorry. Wish I could be there.

Isn’t that (19:00 GMT)?

or 7:00 PM GMT

That time doesn’t work for me either, but I can catch the presentations later if/when the recordings are posted. I have a recurring meeting every other Thursday at 2:00PM EST.

Actually the US will be in Daylight Savings by then, so 2pm EST is 1900 GMT, however is the time 2pm EDT and therefore GMT & UK time is 1800? (UK won’t enter BST until March 26th).

is that a xojo app?? look really nice

It’s here

For me it’s 7am on the 24th, April though it’ll be 6am.

Hi everyone.

I had hoped to hold our March meeting next week, but I’ve had to move it out a bit. I think it will be worth the wait.

Our March meeting will be held on Thursday, March 30th, at 2pm Eastern.

Here’s the agenda:

Wayne Golding, Solutions Architect at Axis Direct Ltd, will be demonstrating a technique for deploying Xojo Web apps.

Phillip Zedalis, Managing Developer of 1701 Software, will demonstrate RapidServices, which can be used to build RESTful web services using Xojo Web.

Geoff Perlman, Xojo’s Founder and CEO, will be doing a Q&A session.

To register for the meeting, please visit:

I hope you’ll join us.

Just a quick reminder that our March meeting is schedule for tomorrow (March 30th) at 2pm Eastern.

If you’re interested in attending and haven’t already registered, please do so here:

Reminder, 2 minutes until start

Great job all involved, many thanks.

25th May, marked in calendar for next meeting.

The meeting was longer than announced so I ran out of time.
Will there be an option to get the recording of the last presentation from @Wayne Golding ?

I think Tim said he was going to upload a video of the whole “meeting” to Vimeo.

A video of yesterday’s meeting is now available on the VXUG site:

I want to thank @Geoff Perlman, @Wayne Golding, and @Phillip Zedalis for taking the time to present to the group.

Our next meeting will be held on Thursday, May 25th. I’m hoping to line up two to three presenters. If you have an idea for something that you would like to present, please let me know.

Thanks again for your interest in and support of the group.
