User Interface Response

Hello,
I have found an example of “User Interface Response” from RB Cross-Platform Application development by Mark S. Choate.
Unfortunately appli. doesn’t run as listing code described.
Does any one knows the book ?
Example is shown at chapter 5 (Designing a Desktop Application), page 308.

that book is very old
published in 2006 or so and a LOT of things have changed between then and now
would need a full example from that book to bring it up to date

I still have that book. I think you’re referring to the Threads example?

In the Examples section of Xojo there is a Thread example. 4 threads running simultaneously and updating the UI.
