Upgrade for iOS licence?

I have a little free iOS app.
To build it, I bought the $300 iOS licence.

Apple say I now need to use SDK13
Xojo say to do that I need to use 2019R3, but I have 2019R1, and my licence doesnt cover the 0.2 part.

The ‘upgrade’ to a fresh iOS licence, which offers absolutely no detectable new features over my existing version, is $284
.
Ridiculous.

If you are looking for more reasons to renew than Apple’s SDK requirements, there are quite a few great iOS features coming up in 2020. You can see the iOS features included in 2019r2 (http://documentation.xojo.com/resources/release_notes/2019r2.html) and 2019r3 had a lot of iOS features (http://documentation.xojo.com/resources/release_notes/2019r3.html).

I’m really not.
I have one minor bug fix to upload and I’m done with iOS development.

The number of basic things I should be able to do in iOS and can’t has been a frustration since I started, sadly. The iOS licence has always been overpriced, and asking the same again for an upgrade that has so little is astonishing.

I am sorry to hear you were frustrated from the start. That’s why we have a 90 day return policy. You can always contact me directly at hello@xojo.com when you have questions or concerns. I am happy to help in any way I can
