since I have had to change machines a number of times in the past few years, the only thing on the “main drive” is macOS and all the Apple supplied software (Safari, mail etc.) If I bought it, stole it, or borrowed it… its on an external drive, which is backed up in two other places.
Ok… no need for CEF, FTC or TextInputCanvas
Just got “Todays Project” working… and it works quite well.
Custom control… consisting of a TextArea, 3 Canvas (gutter, ruler and status) and a timer to keep it all in synch.
Tested with 10,000 lines of random text and it moves very smoothly
I’ll post a demo in a day or two if anyone is interested
still some options to add, and tweeks to make (just notice the ruler is slightly off)
