Announced for March 19th? If it truly runs the i5, then is should run Xojo apps without a problem. Nice specifications too. External link below.
Looks like one of Intels reference designs in many ways except for the logo

Yes, it is the NUC with the SSD hard drive. Should run Xojo apps nicely. System76 does a lot of testing of the hardware and the OS. That’s typically not a problem in recent years but it’s nice to know it works as it should.
The NUC’s are just darned expensive little machines - at least here (about the same way I feel about the Mac Mini)
Intel NUC BOXD54250WYKH1 2 x 204Pin SO-DIMM Intel HD Graphics 5000 Mini / Booksize Barebone System
$469.99
16Gb RAM $150
250 Gb SSD $160
A lot cheaper than Xi3 LUC based system which starts at $540 and goes up…
The Meerkat is now available for order. Prices start at $499 for 4GB RAM and 32GB SSD drive. Only the i3 CPU. I thought mistook the “Intel 5th Generation CPU” as meaning the i5. My mistake.
If you want an i5 CPU, you can check out the MintBox 2 for $599 w 4GB RAM and 500GB 5400 RPM HD. I read some people changed out the HD to a SSD drive.
That’s certainly a beefy machine for that price. I think the idea of the Meerkat and MintBox 2 is a low power consumption, quiet, but capable machine.
The Mac mini is a similar concept
Per cubic meter a rack of mini’s can be a pretty decent little server set up

And what about this:(Via China Aliexpress / Fedex to USA, US $355.67)Aluminum fanless computer i5 4200u
Aside from the Chenglish specs (Engrish Funny), that’s a heck of a little box for the price. And the fact that it supports both an mSATA and standard 2.5" 4MM notebook HD makes it even more useful. I’ve got 3 mail servers online that don’t have that much horsepower and eat up a LOT more juice.
Somehow that got a double post … sorry.
Much of that is just the NUC motherboards from Intel
Can get a decent little box fully outfitted from Newegg etc for $369 or if you have memory & drives you can buy an Intel branded machine for 289 with no mem or drive
