I stumbled upon this last week, and thought I’d share it:
“Make Something Wonderful” is a collection of speeches, interviews, etc given by Steve Jobs. You can read it online, or download it for free.
I found the emails that Steve sent to himself to be particularly interesting.

Yes, it’s definitely important that we each recognize that we play an important part in our success but not the only part. There is always a heavy reliance upon the current and/or former work of others that came before us. A little humility goes a long way.
Did amazing thigs? Sure. But it is also an importat life lesson to look at the full picture. What happens when someone becomes so egocentric that thinks that he knows better than any one else? Decides to not listen to others and refuses the treatment that can save his life. When he finally accepted that he was wrong, it was too late.
I admire Steve Jobs but he did make a tragic mistake choosing to not have a simple procedure that would have saved his life. He was surrounded by the best of the best in terms of doctors and yet still decided to ignore their advice.
