Spammed from Xojo?

I just verified my Xojo account:
At “Want to Hear From Us?” I checked “Don’t Allow”.

Any I got “How likely are you to recommend Xojo to a friend?”.

So I wonder why such a mail was sent to me…

Please explain.

Well, I once had a similar complain for a client’s database and than checked it and saw that the SQL query didn’t have that field in the query. So someone implemented the checkbox and a database field, but for newsletter sending where you may have several systems, the field was not used. And nobody noticed for a long time!

That’s why I asked here. I expect that Dana will explain it.
