Should We Disable the Auto-Closing of Old Topics?

To give some background, the current auto-locking of old threads was implemented to help direct users to either find the most relevant information or post questions in new topics to encourage the sharing of the most recent data. If you wish to read more about the discussion surrounding this functionality, you can check out a couple of those topics linked below the poll.

Any modifications to the auto-close system would have no effect on manually closed topics.

Please stop locking old outdated topics until you come up with solution so it does not mark them as unread

Please stop locking old outdated topics until you come up with solution so it does not mark them as unread Right now I got no way to know what I have unread and I have no lust to go through it. Since Locking old topics flooded it. So whatever I have now actually unread will just permanently go unread because of this mess.

Auto lock old topics

Hello, Please consider to not allow posting a new reply to old topics. Kind of auto lock them after a year of no replies. This avoids someone searching abs finding an old topic and replying to it. Thanks.
