Setting a file's date Xojo example

A few weeks ago I saw a note where someone was sharing a Xojo application that allows you to change the date/time information for a file. I made a mental not to check it out, but sadly didn’t make a physical note! Can anyone here point me to this example?

Thanks,

Ian.

I think you may be referring to this relatively recent post:

Which includes a link to @Wolfgang_Schwarz’s repo https://github.com/woschwarz/File-Date-Changer

Thank you very much. That is the one I was looking for.

Great! At the bottom of Scott’s post click the “button” that says ☑️ Solution

This will add to Scott’s internet points but more importantly it indicates the thread is “Solved” with a checkbox on the main list.

(Also holy cow great job Scott, I couldn’t remember where I’d seen that either!)

Well, thank you very much for the compliment, Tim.

As addled as my brain is with long-covid, it can still pop out the occasionally useful (and accurate) fact

Ooh, I didn’t know about the “Solution” button. Done now.

Actually I’ll follow up my own post with something that I’ve been meaning to put here for a while. I use a lot of forums about various topics. One way or another some of them can be a bit of a painful process to use, but this one is a gem (another is the Fujifilm fujix-forum.com site). Unfailingly helpful and full of nice people. Just so you know, I’m grateful.

I think you may have clicked the wrong post for Solution. Should be post #2 by Scott C.
