Runtime error: Common\\objects.cpp

Hi there,

One of our customers is reporting a runtime error, as per the screenie at https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/15108631/ssruntime.png. That’s not one of our error messages, so I’m guessing it’s something lower level. Can anyone point me in the right direction? eventCount is one of our variables…

Thanks,

Hamish

got a 404 on the link above

Sorry about that; poor hotel wifi. Try now.

Pretty sure that eventCount in this case isn’t your variable.
What version did you create this app with ?
I just don’t recall what version mini dumps on Windows are enabled and that would be really useful.

It’s created with 2012 r2.1. I’ve seen mini dumps before from Windows, but of course they need to be enabled on Windows. I can get the chap to enable them and see if he can recreate the problem…

That might be very useful if we can get one.
However being built with 2012 It might be a bug that is/was already solved in the intervening years.
But a mini dump might help figure that out IF we can get one

A mini dump from 2012 wouldn’t be useful, and, as you mentioned, this might be fixed already. I know I’ve spent a fair amount of time working in that code fixing things.

OK, no problem - I shall stop digging. Thanks, Joe.
