Hello everyone, as written in the other posts, I’m working with my executable created on Xojo and my Arduino. I developed a screen (input) in my executable where I receive data from Arduino via serial port. My problem is that I would like to clean up the screen of the serial, I would like to do this: I go to the screen with the mouse, right click and clear. How can I do? Can you give me directions?
Regards
What is your platform? What is your ‘screen’? Is it a Window? A Terminal screen? Does it contain fields? Labels?
If it’s a Terminal screen invoked in a shell you should use the OS command for that. Windows: ‘cls’, macOS ‘clear’. Can you show a picture of it?
I used a TextArea on the my programm. In this screen(TextArea) I go to write all data that I receive of serial port.
Ok, I go with the mouse on the TextArea, I want to click the right button and clean the TextArea
Ah you mean a contextual click:
Create a MouseDown event handler in the TextArea control.
In the code:
If IsContextualClick then
Me.Text = ""
End if
