Rename a control

I have just switched over to Xojo. I have been programming in up and including.Real Studio 2011r4.3.
I don’t seem to be able to rename controls. I drag them onto a window then inspect them and change the name. But when I go back to the control later it has it’s original name. i.e. Textfield2.
What am I missing?
I have looked at options but cannot find anything to correct it there.

After you have changed the name you have to press tab or return key.
Clicking in any place will revert the field (not only the name field) to the previous state.

@Hans Meier , we will get that fixed but in the meantime, Antonio’s suggestion is the right one.
