I have an old Realbasic (dare I say textbook) that I was looking in regarding regular expressions. In the section on regular expressions, they stated that there was an application that you can use to test your regular expressions and it was available to download from the RealSoftware website. Anyone know if this application is still around?
That’s probably RegExRX 1.9.2 (shareware) by @Kem_Tekinay

…is also excellent, although you’ll need to do a bit of options translation from their syntax to Xojo.
… which is the benefit of RegExRx.
It’s intended for use with Xojo and has been built to make Xojo dev lives easier.

If you’re interested in RegExRX, you can get the Windows version or the latest Mac version from my web site:
If Mac, buy it from the Mac App Store, put that Intel-only version in a folder somewhere, then download the ARM-compatible version from the web site. The MAS version will work as your license.
(I’ll eventually update the MAS.)

@Kem_Tekinay - the signature on the ARM version is as-hoc and there’s no notarization.
