The good news is that by the time this error occurs, your app has already been successfully compiled and the .pkg file created.

I do not see a package file after a build. Is there a setting to make the package file appear?

Update:
2025r3 - Fixed the publishing issue I was having. I could publish on the App store using this release.

2025r3.1 - I looks like the problem has returned. This pops up “…error creating the package file…”. As I was watching the build folder in the Finder during the Publish process, the pkg file appeared and then disappeared just before the Xojo displayed the message. That probably explains why there was nothing to send via the Transporter in 2025.R2.1.

I’ll try 2026r1 when it becomes available.

2026r1 fixed the publishing problem. It highlighted the “Publish” button in the IDE after following the guidance at “Build Settings/macOS/Sign/Developer ID/Inspect…”
