.rbp and Xojo Version 2017 2.1

I have recently downloaded Xojo Version 2017 Release 2.1.
I am unable to open .rbp project files created using Real Studio Version 2012 Release 2.1
Is changing the extension .rbp to .xojo_binary_project the only solution ?

No, not the only one :slight_smile:
You can also drag-and-drop the .rbp on Xojo.app

I can’t select them in the Open File dialog of the Xojo IDE - they’re greyed out.

It’s just a bit unfortunate that Xojo says:

So I keep dropping the .rbp’s and .rbvcp’s on the Xojo-IDE-Icon in the Dock. From then I can usually open the projects using the “recent projects”.
