Property is Protected Error

I have been getting this error message after updating to Xojo 2017 1.1 in my web app.

This property is protected. It can only be used from within it’s class Name.

Then change the scope of that property or, better still, access it with global getter/setter methods

Thanks for the reply but I’ve already done that. It was working fine. I did some more updates a few hours later, that was unrelated. Then I got this error.
