Did you reboot after clearing the Cache folder ?
No, I’m sure I checked the option to avoid the conversion when I updated the OS.
Thank you Mattew Dinmore, moreover I use Little Snitch and I block by default all the traffic that is not essential to the functioning of the OS. I’ll dig deeper and let you know if it causes my issue too.

Very bizzare, I confirm this strange behavior.
I suggest filing a private case in our feedback system and attaching your project so we can take a look at that. What you have selected in the Navigator should not affect your ability to run the project.
