I guess that the BeOS dev team lacked some maturity. This really exists in the kernel API of the legacy source code of the OS.

I’ve been frustrated with some terrible code for a Filemer client. It’s a script that I didn’t write. I came across this article and thought it was funny. Intern left legacy of potty-mouthed source code • The Register.
Not the first time in my career that I’ve had to deal with such s****y code.
