Printing png file using Epson ESC/POS

Hi there,

Is there anyone who knows how to print a png file (or jpeg) on an Epson receipt printer TM-T88V using ESC/POS commands ?

Documentation says using 'GS ( L’ or 'GS 8 L’ commands but doesn’t give much details about the formatting of the ‘raster/binary’ data, sizing, etc.
Googling the web and forums gave a lot of questions but no real answers.

The png can not be pre-loaded into the printer, it must be loaded dynamically every time it’s printed.

Well, let me know once you get any news, i’m struggling with this one as well, so far apparently doing a simple excel and dumping all there it prints super nice , while using the POS is a nightmare
