With macOS Tahoe 26.1 Apple is adding access to the local LLM. Is it possible add functions in the MBS plugin to access this?
Yes. Works here already. Will come in a few days with next MBS Plugins beta.

Reader, dont get be fooled by this statement; I just checked, and I am up-to-date with Tahoe 26.0:
I had a doubt while reading the title: did I forget an update ? The answer is NO.
I knew about beta software, but this is the first time I saw one with a release number… MacRumors do not talked about it.
MacWorld and Ars Technica does know nothing about it too…
At last, when I asked Google:
this is the only valid entry (I saw others, but none saying 26.1 was released as your screen shoet imply.
I see “Memory: 8GB” and I recall an Apple statement saying “AI needs 16GB“…
This is why I do not tryed Apple Intelligence on my 8GB machine.
