The fun part is the dependency hell hits so bad, that most projects probably won’t notice. It’s hard to update them :joy:

Excellent article.

This article mentions the two headaches when using “free” software, shows how difficult it is to control versions and their maintenance. The risk is always latent in free software.

I remember a user of this blog mentioned JavaScript has many libraries that no longer have maintenance.

The reason the specialist in computer audit always has observations on free software.
