Old RealBasic manuals and books - anyone interested?

I am cleaning out some shelves in the office and found a bunch of old RealBasic manuals and books, as well as a stack of O’Reilly books. Most of these are from the early 2000s

I’ll probably just donate these to a local thrift store, but I figured I’d check here first - happy to send them to anyone who might be interested, just pay me for the shipping, which we’ll figure out once I know where you are.

I’m in Boston. This will be a heavy box, so shipping only to the US (or if you’re local you can come pick them up). I can send Media Mail, which would be cheapest, through UPS overnight - your call.

Here’s the list - I’d prefer to get rid of all of them at once:

Last call before I haul these off to the Goodwill tonight. Let me know if you’re interested in them!

API2 destroyed the value of old books. Somo other are too old to be relevant. Learning something based on really outdated info could be counterproductive. Most of this books maybe should be send to the recycling bin.

I have the Matt Neuberg book. It was a useful reference, plus I just flat-out enjoyed reading the guy in general. But like you said, obsolete.

I work with archives on a daily basis. From that perspective, these have some value and I would argue it’s short sighted to say they should be destroyed simply because they reference a non-current version.

And while rare, people do occasionally post here that they’re still maintaining apps on really old RealBasic versions. There may also be people who are interested in it purely for historical reasons.

So these won’t be recycled or destroyed. At least, not by me.

Maybe you can donate them to a local Library?
