What? Oh, that’s disgusting. Of course, that’s not a regression, because it was not reported when the bug was introduced. I am so glad Xojo decided to cut down international support when they focused completely on newbies. I could not evangelise without feeling bad these days.

Well, William Yu saw the FC of this BUG back in April 10, 2018, changed to “Database Plugin” BUG but looks like that the BUG is still there.

@William_Yu: Thank you. Please feel free to contact me in case you need more data. I just found that the same error appears on Windows with SQLDatabaseMBS if I just use the SQLDatabaseMBS.Connect method. Using SQLConnectionMBS.Connect() fixes the error and makes the project run on Windows.
