if its there it should work, if a movie looped seamlessly there’s a lot of things I could do but loading an image sequence is a no go for anything bigger than a flickering flame
Yes, I am trying to play actual movies that my users select themselves. The image sequence thing is completely useless to me. So hopefully I can keep this thread on topic and Xojo sees it (I also reported a bug in Feedback like months ago, no response or recognition from Xojo).

Just an idea : why not concatenate the sequences you want to play or repeat ?

The nature of my software requires one single video file to be played looping potentially forever if a user so wanted. It really shouldnt need a workaround at all, it should just work. It worked before. Now it doesnt, and nobody at Xojo seems to care. Yet Im supposed to shell out another chunk of money to renew my license.

I was told by support that this fix was to be included in the 2015r1 release and it clearly is not. When can we expect this problem that is now years old to be corrected?!? It does devalue the license renewal when all we see is mostly new development while bugs that are years old continue to remain unaddressed even when tech support say they are fixed? I understand that no on likes to do maintenance programming but something has to be done. There are dozens of bugs with problem reports that are being ignored. Please someone do you job and get these issues fixed! It just doesn’t add-up.
