Modern Xojo GUI
Check with terminal. Then do ‘ls -lO’ (that’s an uppercase ‘o’)
(chflags)
nice …
what’s the line command to hide a folder like this in an app ?

If you’re in the Contents directory:
chflags hidden ./Frameworks
This looks familiar
Will fix that asap.
Never thought anyone would click on the pause button when no FFmpeg has been installed.

The universe wins again
if you look inside the app, there is no xojo framework folder
so how can you say it’s made with xojo ?
Check it with App Wrapper and it finds the Xojo framework.

if everybody’s posting his screenshots…

This is my App Minicalc, developed for a mid-size german constructing company (approx 300 Employees) for managing projects, contacts, issues and contracts. Plugins used: Einhugur Dividers and DatePickers, Jeremy’ Calendar Control. The rest is made with XOJO native or custom made controls.

I’ve showed this App in Koblenz last year and made a small “making of” video:

Thanks Stephen. I’d love to take the credit, but @Richard Summers designed it and created all of our custom graphics. We hired Richard as our full time UI Designer / Graphic Designer as it is an art form to great a smooth flowing - great looking UI.

Thank you Stephen / Mike

No full UI, just a proof of concept: Custom iOS SwitchTextfields for disabling/enabling via swipe, using Appearance and API animations:

And it got a mention on MacNN http://www.macnn.com/articles/15/12/14/design.and.print.christmas.cards.131641/

Thanks for sharing Norman, I know they asked for a review copy.

I am developing the current desktop app (not done yet) with a flat iPhone UI and horizontal scrolling containers to have more space for the displayed data + side page panel foe the settings.

You’ld struggle to work out what the UI guidelines for Windows and OSX based on looking at these apps.
They look good, but don’t they show that in a struggle to ‘look cool’ we are losing consistency?
Even Apple’s own icons are a mixed bag of 3D and flat these days.

Yup; I find it harder than ever to design icons nowadays as I don’t seem to feel the flatness.

Here is the Modern UI for our Windows/OSX Connect application with builtin soft-phone, IM, and soon video chat. Custom built most of the UI controls for a metro UI feel.
