MobileLocation Speed question

Does anyone know if the speed communicated in “LocationChanged” is GPS related or generated from the Accelerometer?

I’m guessing the latter because many app can track your speed when indoors.

Does anyone know anything for sure? I’ve googled it, but I haven’t found a clear answer.

My recollection is that the device uses the best info it has and that the accelerometer is used for slow movement and GPS for fast.

That’s interesting. I wonder what is fast and what is slow…
I’m going to have to research more.
