I just made a google search and it seems it passed away on May 6, 2023 (R.I.P. Michel).

Oh Michel, this is hard to comprehend. We have met several times and you helped me out with technical issues as a real friend, more than once. We all have lost a great member of our Xojo community. The memories of you will remain Michel.

Like you, I wondered since several weeks ago why we didn’t see him posting anymore. Reading the reason here is rather hard.

I observed that too, but maybe someone at his house accessed his accounts.

He stopped to answer, unusual.

I confirmed at the French records this decease record in may/2023 with matching year of birth:

I’ve interacted with Michel for more than 15 years on these forums. He has always been friendly and knowledgable. He was a good addition to the Xojo community. He will be missed.

We are now without a bright star among us, he was truly a kind person to me. I am so sorry to see the news of his passing.
