I wanted to ask if there is something to use the MediaFoundation libraries instead of the older DirectShow on Xojo. Plugins? MBS?

You may be able to use declares.
I would like to make acquisitions with cameras. I have no idea what it’s for, because I don’t know MediaFoundation. I only know that it serves that purpose and that it “replaces” DirectShow, even though the latter continues to be widely used. Programming with declares by calling the native libraries, on such a complex series of operations, I think it is a very difficult task!
