MBS Xojo VLC and MacOS

Hi,

Has anyone here used the MBS Xojo VLC plugin from MonkeyBread Software and successfully compiled an application for macOS? Does video playback work properly, and does it display inside the parent window or does it open in a separate window?

Do you see a problem?

I can load the example project “Show video sample”. Then I modify the path to VLC.app on my Mac and change the project to ARM, since my VLC copy is ARM.

The test video loads and plays in the window.

I’m using VMWare Workstation to simulate macOS since I don’t have a Mac. I can load the “Show video sample” example and the video plays, but the window remains empty. Before moving forward with my project, I would prefer to verify that it runs correctly on an actual macOS machine.

Not desired but when VLC was needed it was a quick solution
