Listbox Footer with controls?

I could swear I saw a tutorial on making a listbox with controls in a footer, like the one you see in System Preferences:

I can’t seem to find that tutorial - or am I just imagining it?

Maybe the controls are simply placed below the ListBox, not in the ListBox ?
